The weather has been amazing for the last few weeks. Unfortunately, I was on my death bed for the first week of 70 degree weather, so I didn;t get to enjoy it. This last week I was only half way on my death bed, so I was at least able to get out of bed and sit by the window. :-/
Today, it was in the 70s, and I felt great, so I started spring cleaning. Yes, I know it is only January, but I started anyway. I got the Dining Room cleaned, organized and decluttered, posted some patio furniture on Craigslist, researched vacation spots, took my doggies for a walk and even found a home for Marilyn.
I am in the process of getting rid of most of our school stuff. Ethan is a Junior in (home) high school, and I still have books that we used when he was in 1st grade. I have tried to get rid of them before, but there were a few that I just couldn't part with. Not any more! They are out of here! Whatever I can't sell, I will donate to the library and whatever the library doesn't want will be given to nursing homes, used book stores or the Salvation Army. It now takes up 1/3 of a bookcase, down from two.
Tomorrow I clean the carpet in the Dining Room, and start cleaning/decluttering my bathroom and bedroom. Hopefully, by Monday I will have a big box ready to go to the Salvation Army.
